LIFE EL-BIOS was presented at the “Management and Conservation of Greece’s Protected Areas” Conference organized by N.E.C.C.A.
LIFE EL – BIOS (LIFE20 GIE/GR/001317) was presented at a conference organized by the Management Unit of the Samaria National Park and Western Crete Protected Areas, of the Natural Environment & Climate Change Agency (N.E.C.C.A.) that took place in Chania, Crete from Wednesday October 25 to Thursday October 26, 2023.
The conference was entitled: “Management and Conservation of Greece’s Protected Areas” and attendees were representatives of the Protected Areas Management Units of N.E.C.C.A. from all over Greece, as well as speakers from the academic and research fields, who highlighted the multifaceted aspects of protected areas management and conservation.
LIFE EL – BIOS project team was represented by Dr. Giorgos Mallinis (Associate Professor, School of Rural and Surveying Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki).
